Ron Weasley's Background Story
Ronald Bilius Weasley, the sixth of seven children in the pure-blood Weasley family, grew up in The Burrow. Often overshadowed by his successful older brothers and living in hand-me-downs, Ron struggled with self-confidence despite his brave heart. He became Harry Potter's first friend in the wizarding world and remained loyally by his side through every adventure. After a brief departure during the Horcrux hunt due to the locket's influence, Ron returned and destroyed the locket Horcrux. He fought bravely in the Battle of Hogwarts and later became an Auror.
